I'm still here!

It's been quite awhile since I've blogged, which is becoming a familiar opening for me!  I really want to blog but sometimes feel are people really interested in what I've got to say.

But this blog is about me and what I want to say so it doesn't really matter I guess.

So much has happened since I last blogged, we've been on a family holiday to the Isle of White which was lovely.  The weather wasn't really sunny but it didn't stop us doing the things we would normally do.

Here's me and the kids on the beach, which was just a the back of the site.

H even braved the sea!

Well the kids are off school now, one week down already in fact.  We've been for days out, baked brownies, watched films and caught up with friends so far with more little things planned.  I got H to write a list of the things she wanted to do and said we would try and do as many as possible.  I'm just trying to prevent her spending 6 weeks sitting on her laptop.

We went to car boot on Sunday where we picked up a bike for L for £10 - bargain :)  He absolutely loves it, he's currently practicing riding around the house.

I picked up 25 Agatha Christie books from a stallholder for £4 - another bargain :)

I can't wait to get started on reading them.

I'm off to a friends house today with L, I shall try and catch up with everyone's blogs later when I get back.

  1. Looks like a great holiday, love the pic of H in the water! Could be a mermaid! Glad to hear from you as we are old blog friends xx

  2. i know the feeling sometimes it seems the longer you leave it the harder it is to have something to say without apologising for not blogging, but never apologise for having a wonderful and busy life, i love the fact that there is always a lovely comment waiting for you when you have had a little time away from blogland...enjoy the hols!!!tracy

  3. I'm jealous of that wonderful haul of Agatha Christies! Thery would keep me happy for hours.

  4. Welcome back! I'm a sucker for vintage Agatha Christie paperbacks, too. x

  5. Looks like a lovely holiday! Don't worry about not being around for a while, I'm starting to realise how much time we spend at computers, so a break from blogging every now and then is probably a good thing! Enjoy the summer holidays with your kids! :) x

  6. welcome back I think we all drift in and out of blogging for lots of reasons.
I'm just getting into the swing of the school hols hope you all enjoy yours.
    Cate x

  7. Great bargain with the bike!
Blog as often or as little as you like and you should never feel guilty or have to be sorry. For me bloging is something I do if I feel like it and if I have the time.
Have a fun Summer holiday doing lots of fun things.

    Barri xx

Thanks for taking the time to comment on my blog :) xx
